Club Presentations

Parramatta City Swimming Club has presentations for both the summer and winter seasons.

Up until the 1980s these were formal affairs where everyone got dressed up. More recently, most presentations have been held outdoors at various parks in and around Sydney. This has sometimes led to more shivering than sun-worshipping when the weather turned cold and windy.

Some of the locations of presentations over the years include:

  • Crosslands Reserve, Hornsby Heights
  • Freshwater Beach
  • Australia Wonderland
  • Audley Weir, Royal National Park
  • Northmead Bowling Club
  • Cruising the George's River & lunch at St George Speedboat club
  • Shark Island, Sydney Harbour
  • Clarke Island, Sydney Harbour
  • Jamberoo Fun Park
  • Lake Parramatta
  • Brays Bay Reserve, Rhodes
  • Blaxland Riverside Reserve, Newington
  • Indoor Climbing, The Pitch, Wetherill Park
  • Barefoot Bowls, Concord Bowling Club.
  • Silverwater Park, Silverwater
  • Archery Centre, Olympic Park              .
